PCSO completes charity skydive
Friday, 08 August, 2014
A Leicestershire officer has taken part in a skydive to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
PCSO Liam Palmer from Melton local policing unit PCSO Palmer jumped from a plane at 13,000ft as part of a tandem dive that took off from Sibson airfield near Peterborough.
Commenting on his challenge PCSO Palmer said: “I am very proud to have been able to help the charity by taking part in the jump. It was a nerve wrecking but amazing experience! “The charity is very close to my heart after losing a very close family friend to the condition in 2011 and also with my colleague Sergeant Sparling suffering from the disease.
“So far I have raised about £950 for the charity and I hope that I can break £1000 very soon!”
