Laerdal introduces the new Resusci Anne QCPR and Resusci Baby QCPR

With over 50 years’ experience in the field of resuscitation training, Laerdal Medical introduces the new Resusci Anne QCPR and Resusci Baby QCPR to the Emergency Services community.

Laerdal aims to set new industry standards for high quality CPR training, by updating the renowned Resusci Anne that has been used to train more than 300 million people worldwide, as well as the Resusci Baby. These have been improved to feature multiple feedback options which enable objective CPR performance and logging of sessions for post-training debriefing.

Measurement, assessment and feedback are the three key factors for increased learning and greater chance for success in resuscitation. The new Resusci Anne QCPR and Resusci Baby QCPR are built with the purpose to:

• Measure the CPR performance


• Assess the results of the performance


• Facilitate good feedback to the trainer

Use Resusci Anne QCPR or Resusci Baby QCPR with the SkillGuide for real-time, single, self directed feedback or with SimPad SkillReporter software for a comprehensive overview of up to six manikins simultaneously. These facilities allow responders to measure and assess their performance for improvement and retention of this important skill. The SimPad SkillReporter tool gives the instructor a comprehensive CPR training solution that can measure and assess both individual CPR performance and class performance through the ability to operate and log data from multiple manikins simultaneously.

Capturing data from the use of these manikins allows quality debriefing to take place, which will efficiently improve and maintain quality CPR skills at an organisational level and reflect the growing evidence that feedback in training and quality CPR management systems are key to improving patient outcomes.
