Exclusive baton is popular choice

The ESP Expandable Baton is exclusive to Aspen International Ltd in the UK and Eire and is quickly becoming the baton of choice for Police Forces in mainland Europe.

The baton is a specifically hardened baton up to 50 HRC on the Rockwell Hardness Scale, manufactured in Europe and with four sizes available 16ins, 18ins, 21ins, and 26ins. The surface finish options are black nickel-zinc, black metal carbide or white chrome.

All sizes have a quality certified secure rubber grip making it difficult for an assailant to gain access to. The 21ins baton has a further option of a unique ergonomic handle, which simulates the palm grip of the hand. Each baton is supplied with a rigid plastic holder included in the price, and when the nylon strap is unfastened the baton becomes securely held to allow for carrying in its expanded position if required.
ESP also manufactures the SH-1 Super Holder, a 360 degree, 16 position swivel holder for the 16, 18 and 21 inch batons. The holder contains a locking mechanism to stop the baton from disengaging itself, or being disengaged by others.

Large supplementary end caps, with a special pronounced solid curvature to the tip, are also available, allowing for close quarter use of the baton in confined spaces and without the need to extend the baton. The end cap also gives additional grip to allow for increased power whilst deploying the baton. Lanyard end straps can also be attached if required.

The two different LED torch attachments BL-01 and BL-02, can be used as a stand alone flashlight or attached to the baton, only increasing the baton length by 28mm. The flashlights are waterproof, use standard CR 2032 lithium batteries and the BL-01 has a battery life of 250 hours.

There are also two choices of tactical search mirrors, in 71mm or 92mm size options.
