As a Senior Crime Analyst, you'll be the analytical powerhouse behind our investigative efforts. What do I need?
- It is essential that you have completed or are about to undertake formal Analyst training from the list below:
National Intelligence Analysis Training (NIAT), now replaced by Introduction to Research & Introduction to Analysis.
Government Intelligence Analysis Training (GIAT), now replaced by PHIA’s New Analyst Programme (NAP).
Defence Intelligence Analysis Training (DIAT).
Level 4 Intelligence Analysis Apprenticeship, or equivalent training delivered by a recognised Organisation.
Entry Level 10-Day CPD Accredited Intelligence Analysis course (RISC)
- Intelligence Professionalisation Programme (IPP) Intelligence Analyst accreditation is desirable but not essential.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional report-writing skills.
- Effective organization and prioritization.
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
- Confident presentation skills.
- Collaborative team player.
- Proven coaching and mentoring skills.
- Problem-solving and proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in IT tools.
- Legal awareness is a plus.
